Dave Berglund, NCF’s Real Estate Development Director.
NCF is excited to welcome its newest team member, Dave Berglund. Dave joins the ever-expanding NCF team as its new Real Estate Development Director. Prior to joining NCF, Dave worked as a real estate agent and continues working as one in his current role. With a wealth of experience spanning numerous years in the real estate industry, Dave has honed his skills in sales and new development. As a real estate leader with a service heart, Dave is proud of the reputation he’s built as a people-focused professional, enabling him to not only close deals, but also build long-lasting relationships with those who he encounters throughout his career. Dave is excited to bring his passion for real estate and years of experience to NCF as he works to advance the mission of affordable housing cooperatives.
One of the core reasons Dave joined the NCF team was witnessing first-hand the increasing difficulty of purchasing a home, especially for working families and first-generation homebuyers. Dave saw the cooperative model and NCF’s work in the space as being a solution to expanding affordable homeownership opportunities. In his role as Real Estate Development Director, Dave will be continuing NCF’s work in converting manufactured housing communities to resident-owned cooperatives, in addition to spearheading efforts to expand cooperatively owned multi-family housing.
Dave is a long-time resident of Northfield, MN and has been an active participant in its local affordable housing community. Dave was on the steering committee for the startup of the Northfield Housing and Redevelopment Committee and volunteered with numerous organizations. When not selling real estate or volunteering, Dave enjoys spending time camping with family, going on bike rides, and challenging his skills in Dr. Mario with his wife.
