We’re really excited about this year’s Common Ground Conference! Over four days, the Northcountry Cooperative Foundation (NCF) has organized six fun and interactive sessions that you won't want to miss.

This year’s theme is Building Sustainable Futures. Sessions will focus on developing practical, resource-efficient, durable strategies for resident-owned communities (ROCs), such as experienced MH infill specialist, Alan Blake, sharing insights on transforming vacant lots into profitable homes; certified arborist, Joe Thate, discussing evaluating, managing and caring for your ROC’s trees; using the Capital Improvement Plan to get things done, and understanding marketing to sell homes, win friends, and influence people. Plus, don’t miss our special tour of the Schult facility in Redwood Falls on Friday, September 13, at 1:00 pm, to see how modern, energy-efficient factory-built homes are constructed.

As usual, we’ll have a chance for ROC members and leaders to connect and mingle over dinner on Friday night. Plan to stay overnight and join us for the two workshops on Saturday. (If you’re traveling from a distance, NCF will reserve and pay for your hotel room and reimburse mileage, but please let us know that you are coming.)
